Zenit St Petersburg warned Milan and Juventus can only sign Axel Witsel for “a €100m offer.”
The Belgium international midfielder has expressed his desire to leave Zenit, but the club is not prepared to release him.
“At this moment we can rule out Witsel’s departure,” director general Maxim Mitrofanov told ITAR-TASS.
“If a club were to present a €100m offer, though, then we would let him go.”
The previous price-tag was in the region of €40m, so Milan and Juve had been hesitant anyway.
