This morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Croatian is indeed on the verge of an exit, on loan with an option to buy which will become an obligation after a certain number of appearances.

That number is still being worked out between the clubs, but his departure will free up the funds for Zaza.

The Italian international has already agreed a four-year contract worth €2.5m per season, while Valencia are ready to accept a loan with €20m obligation to buy.

Zaza grew up supporting Milan, despite his previous spell with Juventus.
