The announcement could well be on Monday or Tuesday.

Zaza is expected to sign a five-year contract worth €3.3m per season.

He turned 25 in June and has been in Turin since the move from Sassuolo in 2015.

Last season he managed to score eight goals with two assists in 24 competitive appearances, most of them off the bench.

Coach Max Allegri hinted last night that the money would be reinvested in two midfielders rather than another striker.
