Simone Zaza’s father and agent admits the striker would prefer Serie A to Valencia but “it’s not easy”.

The Juventus forward spent the first half of the season on loan at West Ham United, but he failed to score a single goal and the English side sent him back rather than buying him outright.

“Right now Simone is in Turin,” Antonio Zaza told TuttoJuve.

“He’s talking with the Juventus hierachy. His desire is generally just to play, he’d go back to Italy but it’s not easy.

“Simone can’t make the wrong move this time, we need to choose very carefully and pay attention to everything. And to do things in the best way we need a few days time.

“West Ham? It didn’t work out at all. We were wrong from the start, really he should never have gone to England. His future, however, could still be outside of Italy.

“As for Valencia, it’s very likely but we still haven’t had the last word on that. And to tell you the truth it’s not just Valencia who are following him…

“There’s contact with another team in Spain, but it’s premature to say more.

Fiorentina? I’ve never had any contact with the Viola.”
