Valencia striker Simone Zaza has reportedly turned down a €30m transfer to the Chinese Super League.

According to Superdeporte, the forward received the proposal from an unnamed club, believed to be Guangzhou Evergrande.

However, the Italy international who turns 27 next week seems to have his heart set on a return to Serie A.

There have been links with Milan, Sampdoria, Torino and his old club Sassuolo, but none of them offering anywhere near €30m.

Valencia paid €18m to sign Zaza from Juventus and it was by no means a bad season, as he scored 13 goals in 33 La Liga appearances.
