The Milan giants have spent a large part of this campaign in the bottom half of the standings following a problematic start to the season.

However, after wining five of their last six Serie A games, Inter are now in fifth place – albeit 10 points behind leaders Juventus.

“There is a completely different look to the League table now, a much more positive one,” the veteran told Inter Channel.

The side’s latest victory came at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi on Sunday after they beat little Cesena 1-0 after a tight game.

“That was a tough match and against difficult opposition, but we were compact,” the Argentine added. “We wanted the three points and we got them.

“We have to keep improving and winning matches like this.”

Claudio Ranieri’s side will have another great opportunity for three points on Wednesday when they host Lecce in their re-arranged Week 1 tie.

The Stadio Via Del Mare outfit, now bossed by Serse Cosmi, have won just two of their 15 League games this season.
