Luciano Spalletti joked in his Press conference yesterday that Inter President Erick Thohir “always looks happy, even when his team is in fifth place.”

Nerazzurri Vice-President Zanetti replied to the Roma Coach on Mediaset Premium.

“Our objective is always to seek the best and improve during these last few games of the season.

“I don’t know how Spalletti knows how our President feels, I will have to ask him afterwards.

“I saw Francesco Totti and we said hello. He’s a champion who has done so much for Roma. Those of us who love football hope he can have a grand finale to his career.

“The President has been very clear that getting into the Champions League will not be decisive for keeping Mancini.

“Roberto is an excellent Coach and we will try to get third place. It won’t be easy and this evening is already a very important and difficult game, but we’ll give it our all.

“What do Inter lack compared to Juventus and Napoli? For a club like ours, it is fundamental to get back into Europe, because it allows us to plan the season a certain way and build a team that can improve in terms of character.

“We are so far lagging behind in that objective.”
