Inter captain Javier Zanetti knows the meeting with Bayern Munich will be “different from the Champions League Final, but we're in great shape.”

The veteran lifted the trophy on May 22, 2010 following a 2-0 victory and faces the Germans again tomorrow evening.

“They are different from the team we played in May and it will be a different game from the Champions League Final, but we're in great shape, just as we were back then,” said Zanetti.

“Bayern are a good team, but we must try to play our game and win. Play with our heads and stay tight to hit them on the break.”

Diego Milito scored both goals in that Final, but is out injured for this match and Giampaolo Pazzini ineligible, so Samuel Eto'o and Goran Pandev are the only available forwards.

“It's a shame Diego isn't here, but we have to focus on our football all the same and achieve a positive result over 180 minutes.

“We must be careful not to leave Bayern too much space, but we are ready. We're aware of our strength. This is the Champions League: We want to keep going,” continued Zanetti.

“I am enjoying this moment of my career. In recent years we reached important objectives and want to hit many more. I want to be useful to this side and hope to play my part tomorrow as well.”

It has been a shaky second round for the Italian sides so far, as both Milan and Roma lost on home turf.

“I watched both matches. They faced teams in great shape and the same will be true of Inter's opponents, but that doesn't mean there is a difference between Italian football and what is overseas.”
