The Rosanero released a statement this morning to deny reports from yesterday that he had set a price tag for Milan to sign the Italy international in the winter window.
He denied the claims and revealed the Bianconeri’s interest in the attacking midfielder in an interview with Sport Mediaset today.
“I never set a fixed price for Milan for Vazquez, it was an invention,” said Zamparini.
“I spoke about Vazquez, I said that in January he won’t move because he’s too important for Palermo this year.
“Then I was asked how much he’s worth and I said €30m, plus VAT obviously because it exists, as with Dybala, who cost Juve €40m plus VAT.
“As for the market, Galliani asked me for Vazquez in the summer and I said: ‘no, Adriano.’
“In January no, in June 2016 it could happen.
“We’ll see, I said the same thing to (Juventus director Giuseppe) Marotta so we’ll see next summer.
“Of course I’d be happy if Vazquez went to Silvio Berlusconi, if he stays in Italy.”
