Yesterday the Lazio patron launched a tirade against the officiating system demanding a random draw of Serie A referees, as opposed to the current system which sees the officials designated specifically by the referees association, the AIA.
Zamparini, who similarly criticised football’s organisation just yesterday, has come out in support of Lotito's proposal.
“It would finally be an impartial solution.” he told Ansa.it.
The new system would see referees being assigned to individual matches according to a random draw.
