Claudio Lotito claims “Lazio and I are clearly penalised by referees” and demands a new type of random draw.
The Biancocelesti President reportedly ranted at reporters after last night’s 1-0 defeat to Genoa at the Stadio Olimpico.
It was decided by a penalty, the incident which also saw goalkeeper Federico Marchetti sent off.
“It is clear that for some time Lazio and I are penalised by referees,” slammed Lotito as quoted by the Corriere dello Sport.

“It is clear that for some time Lazio and I are penalised by referees,” slammed Lotito as quoted by the Corriere dello Sport.
“The referees have a problem with me, and yet I have done so much for their association as a Federation counsellor.
“Enough is enough, now I want an integral draw.”
This means all available referees are put into a pot and randomly assigned to games rather than the current system where officials are divided into levels of experience for more difficult matches.
The ‘integral draw’ system had been used in Serie A in the past, but prompted complaints that big games were assigned to inexperienced referees.
Lotito also made a comment that some considered a threat, telling people nearby to “prepare the ski masks.”
These are items usually worn by the Ultras when they are trying to hide their identity during crowd trouble.
“I spoke about ski masks because it was incredibly cold,” insisted Lotito later to news agency ANSA.
“I even got ill and had to take antibiotics. As for the refereeing around Lazio, that is obvious to all and yesterday our Coach Stefano Pioli discussed it too.”
