  1. Brilliant signing. I am surprised that more clubs didn’t come in for him and that he wasn’t Lazio‘s first choice.

I was hoping Milan would have signed him as Hakan’s replacement. He would have suited Pioli’s system given that he can play in any of the forward positions behind the striker, and also fill in in central midfield if needs be.

If he continues his Verona form for Lazio, he will surely be fighting for Insigne’s – who blows hot and cold – spot in the national team.

  2. Agreed, potentially an incredible signing for Lazio. Very good player, entering his prime on a fee below market value.

He creates chances and gets goals, knows the league and in an expansive style like Lazio’s well get ample chance to shine. Soon to be Azzurri player.

  3. Insigne is pretty untouchable. I would say after the WC Zaccagni could get his chance, unless he scores a lot of goals this seasom or Insigne has a major drop off. Incredible signing for Lazio though, he is an ample replacement for Correa.
