Federico Chiesa is reportedly training with the rest of the Italy squad ahead of tonight’s World Cup Qualifier against Lithuania.

Reports emerged regarding the fitness of the Juventus winger, who suffered a flexor problem yesterday, and Italian media suggested he might travel back to the Bianconeri to recover in time for Napoli on Saturday.

Report: Chiesa could leave Italy camp and return to Juventus today

But Tuttomercatoweb reports the forward, who scored in the 1-1 draw against Bulgaria this month, is on the pitch with the rest of the group, preparing for the match at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio-Emilia.

Chiesa suffered a flexor problem during training yesterday and it’s still uncertain if he will be fit enough to play against Lithuania.

Yesterday, Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne and Lazio striker Ciro Immobile left the Italy camp and two days ago Lorenzo Pellegrini and Marco Verratti returned to Roma and Paris Saint-Germain respectively.

The 23-year-old, capped 33 times by Italy, has not returned to Turin and could still take part in the last game of this international break.
