Now Sky Sport Italia claim that Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg have called the 33-year-old’s entourage to enquire about his availability.
They see Lichtsteiner as an alternative to Suso, after Milan turned down their offer for the Spaniard.

Although Lichtsteiner is less purely attacking than Suso, he is more tactically versatile and can even be used in a three-man defence.
However, the indications suggest he is settled and does not particularly want a transfer yet.
