Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedulla was the journalist who broke news of Sarri’s move to Chelsea last summer, and he wrote in a column for Corriere dello Sport on Friday that the former Napoli boss was on his way to Juve.

Tuttosport, meanwhile, claims agent Fali Ramadani has reached ‘a broad agreement’ with Blues directo Marina Granovskaia over the 60-year-old’s release.

However, the Old Lady would have to pay €6-7m in compensation, while the Coach will only leave with the blessing of his paymaster Roman Abramovich.

Instead, the newspaper claims a compromise could come in the form of Emerson, at a cost of €25-30m, in a similar deal to the one that saw Jorginho follow Sarri to West London.

On the other hand, The Times is reporting the ex-Empoli man has promised to stick with Chelsea if they give him their ‘full backing’.

Sarri is considered a divisive figure, despite leading the club to Champions League qualification and victory in Wednesday’s Europa League Final.

Therefore, he would be seeking ‘reassurances’ over their support for his tactical approach and man-management methods.
