Elseid Hysaj has confirmed that he will leave Napoli this summer as ‘I need change and want to win something.’

Hysaj has made 170 appearances for Napoli since joining the club in 2015, establishing himself as one of Maurizio Sarri’s most trusted performers.

However, he has become more of a peripheral figure under Carlo Ancelotti and is consequently ‘ready’ to pursue a move away.

“I’m absolutely ready for a new challenge because I need change,” the right-back, who turned 25 in February, told Digitalb.

“I’m not the type of person who likes to stay at a club for too long. I want to have new experiences, learn about a new country, meet new people, play for another team and maybe try to win something.

“For me, my time at Napoli is over and I hope to find a team that will give me what I need.”

The Albanian is not expected to have a shortage of suitors, with Chelsea, Juventus and Atletico Madrid among the clubs linked.
