Over the last few days, several intermediaries have offered Georginio Wijnaldum to both Milan and Roma, but neither side are likely to make a move for the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder.

The French giants have decided to transfer list the 31-year-old Dutch midfielder as they look to revitalise the squad a little under new sporting director Luis Campos and new coach Christophe Galtier, but it’s hard to imagine him making the move to Italy.

As highlighted by Tuttosport, the main obstacle for both Milan and Roma is Wijnaldum’s incredibly high wages – the Dutchman earns around €9.7m net per season, figures that are completely inaccessible for the two Italian clubs.

Reports suggest that PSG are willing to pay around half of Wijnaldum’s wages and the Growth Decree could also be useful with a two-year loan deal, but regardless his salary is still problematic and so neither club are paying too much attention to the 31-year-old.
