Romelu Lukaku broke the deadlock in the first half of Roma-Frosinone but didn’t celebrate, fearing to be offside.

Lukaku netted his third Serie A goal on Sunday in a home game between his Roma side and Frosinone.

He received a through ball from Paulo Dybala, dribbled a Ciociari defender inside the box, leaving him on the ground and found the net at the far post.

The Belgian didn’t celebrate much as he probably thought he was offside. As reported by DAZN, Lukaku immediately looked over at the linesman after scoring and just pointed at Dybala, who had delivered the assist.

Referee Matteo Marchetti confirmed Roma’s goal after a silent VAR check, but Lukaku didn’t celebrate much anyway.

Roma’s game against Frosinone is a must-win for the Giallorossi, who have only collected five points in the opening six Serie A matches this term.

Lukaku has now scored four goals in seven appearances across all competitions so far this season.
