Despite media reports suggesting Inter are closing in on an agreement with Paulo Dybala, the Nerazzurri are aware they’ll need to wait a few more weeks first.

It’s been widely reported today that Inter have reached an agreement with the Argentinian forward regarding a move at the end of this season, but there is no substance to this rumour, FcInterNews details. After Udinese-Inter, there was no meeting or serious contact between the Nerazzurri’s management and Dybala’s entourage, for one simple reason.

The reason is the Coppa Italia final. The two parties feel it would not be correct to seriously discuss a deal until this match has been played, so everything is postponed until after May 11.

Regarding the details of a deal itself, a €6m salary on a four-year contract does not directly correspond to Dybala’s wishes; the player is more likely to sign a three-year contract worth €7m, with an option for a fourth year.

Dybala is keen on the idea of joining Inter, putting them ahead of the interested Atletico Madrid and Premier League clubs, and concrete updates are expected later this month.

5 thought on “Why Inter need to wait to close out Dybala deal”
  1. 6 or 7 million at Inter? Surely not.
Maybe if Dybala had been a bit more flexible instead of insisting on 10 million, he could have stayed at Juve.

  2. No Samy I mean your rubentus. The club that stole multiple titles in Italy in Moggi times. Inter weren’t winning anything back then because of it. Keep funnily believing that Inter deserved to be relegated when there was no trial or verdict to begin with.
