Il Corriere dello Sport reveals the likely reason why Leonardo Bonucci shoved an Inter staff member last night and the Juventus defender didn’t apologise in his post-match message on social media.

The Italy international clashed with Inter secretary Cristiano Mozzillo on the touchline after Juventus lost the Supercoppa Italiana to Inter in extra time.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Bonucci may have been annoyed by Mozzillo’s celebrations after Alexis Sanchez’s late winner, but the Rome-based paper fails to provide the details of the Inter staff member’s celebration and why it would have annoyed Bonucci.

A report of Il Tempo, confirms Bonucci was not impressed by Mozzillo’s reaction to Inter’s goal.

Nevertheless, the defender failed to mention the incident in his post-match message shared on Instagram after the game last night.

“We fought, but it was not enough. Congratulations to Inter, we have a new game on Saturday and we must win it to continue to pursue our target. Forza Juve.”

Bonucci was nearby the touchline as he was supposed to be introduced as a substitute to take a penalty in the shoot-out.

  1. A headline called Why Bonucci Clashed with inter staff member, doesn’t really answer the question. Same as the source that doesn’t mention the reason. Lol

  2. I heard if Rube won UCL, this clown would changing name to CLonucci, but right now he is stick to his current name to remember their achievement in serie B

  3. Bonucci clearly didn’t pin the guy against the wall and threaten to kill him for no reason. Anyways it was sorted between the two of them and that should be the end of that.

  4. Results are important and we`ve already seen how juBentus players can get away with anything 😉
