Inter will learn the name of their next European opponents later this morning when the Champions League draw is made.

The Nerazzurri, the last remaining Italian side in Europe, made sure of their place in today's quarter-final draw by miraculously defeating Bayern Munich 3-2 on Tuesday.

Only eight teams now remain and the draw will be unseeded and free meaning that any two teams can be paired with each other.

Sides to avoid for the San Siro giants include Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester United and Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid.

Tottenham may also prove problematic after the London club performed well against Inter in the group stages before they beat Milan in the last round.

German side Schalke and Shakhtar Donetsk of the Ukraine appear to be the easiest opponents on paper, although the latter taught Roma a lesson in the last 16.

The draw for the semi-finals of the competition will also take place on Friday.

The first legs of the quarter-finals will be played on 5 and 6 April, with the second legs set for 12 and 13 April.
