The Nerazzurri have a new owner this season, but they’ve given continuity to the sporting project. Former CEO Beppe Marotta was named club president, and Simone Inzaghi extended his contract, welcoming three new signings, Mehdi Taremi, Piotr Zielinski, and Josep Martinez, in time for the start of the preseason.
All Inter opponents are going the opposite way, with drastic on-the-pitch changes, new coaches, and, in some cases, many new signings. Juventus appointed Thiago Motta, Napoli picked Antonio Conte, and Milan opted for ex-Roma boss Paulo Fonseca.

“However, aside from new signings, Fonseca must find a tactical balance when the team don’t have possession. Last season, opponents were very dangerous every time they had the ball. Leao is a top player with the ball at his feet, but he doesn’t defend much when opponents attack. This is why Fofana would be useful. Milan will be on the right path with Fofana and Pavlovic, but there is still a gap with Inter.”
