West Ham are reportedly one of many clubs interested in signing Roma owned talent Bryan Reynolds in the summer transfer window.

The American right back joined the Giallorossi in February 2021 from FC Dallas on a €100,000 loan deal, making his move permanent five months later for around €6.85m, beating out other interested clubs like Juventus and Club Brugge.

Despite his talent, Reynolds has never managed to convince Jose Mourinho, playing just a single minute in Serie A since the Portuguese coach’s arrival. He joined Belgian outfit KVC Westerlo on loan last summer, where he’s impressed across his 32 appearances.

As reported by Tom Bogert of The Athletic, West Ham are one of a number of clubs interested in picking up Reynolds in the summer. Roma have already declined an offer from a Belgian side and multiple Championship clubs have also registered their interest, aware that he’d qualify for a work permit.

The 21-year-old American right back is contracted to Roma until June 2025 and has an estimated market value of around €2-3m, but is unlikely to leave the Italian capital for such a low fee.
