Beppe Marotta confirmed his understanding that Romelu Lukaku will arrive at Inter this evening ahead of his loan return from Chelsea.

The Nerazzurri are preparing to welcome the Belgian striker back following his difficult 12 months in West London. Inter will pay Chelsea €8m for the loan plus €4m in add-ons linked to winning the Scudetto, a sign of their belief in his return.

Marotta also smiled when asked about Paulo Dybala, who is expected to join the Nerazzurri at some point soon.

When asked when Lukaku will arrive, Marotta responded: “Tonight I think.” A hopeful journalist then followed up with “and Dybala?”, which caused the Inter CEO to smile cheekily.
