Premier League trio Wilfried Gnonto, Gianluca Scamacca and Jorginho all took to the training pitch in Coverciano today to kickstart Italy’s training camp.

Roberto Mancini and his squad are gearing up for their upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against England and Malta, their first competitive outings since the Nations League back in September.

The international break means entirely different things for the three Premier League stars – for Gnonto, it’s a chance to confirm himself in the Italy national team after his breakthrough in 2022, whilst Scamacca is hoping to rediscover some form after a difficult start to life with West Ham.

Jorginho is likely in the twilight of his Italy career and is an important leader for his youngster teammates, helping to prepare the next generation.
