Chelsea paid tribute to club legend Gianluca Vialli before their FA Cup match at Manchester City, as their players were seen wearing shirts with No.9 on the back during warm-up.
Vialli has been wearing the same shirt number at Chelsea for three seasons, after joining from Juventus in 1996.
Since then, he went on to score 40 goals from 87 appearances across all competitions with the Blues lifting several trophies in the process, including a UEFA Supercup and a UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup.
