Bodo/Glimt reacted to their win against Roma in the first leg of the Conference League quarter-finals by posting a classic Italian gesture on Twitter.

The Norwegians are still unbeaten against the Giallorossi this season, having collected two victories and one draw. They won 6-1 in the first meeting of the season in the Conference League group stage in October, collecting a 2-2 draw at the Stadio Olimpico in November.

Yesterday, they sealed a 2-1 win at home in the quarter-finals first leg. It was a tense game in Norway and the Giallorossi captain Lorenzo Pellegrini accused the Norwgians’ coach of attacking Roma’s goalkeeping trainer after the match. The rivalry between the two sides is growing and off the pitch and Bodo/Glimt seemed to taunt José Mourinho’s side after the final whistle last night.

Their first tweet after the end of the game showed the result of the match with the emoji of a classic Italian gesture: the pinched fingers, which usually mean ‘what do you want?’ or ‘what do you mean?’

The two sides meet in the decider at the Stadio Olimpico next week and Mourinho is confident that his side will eventually qualify for the semi-finals.
