Dusan Vlahovic has been voted Serie A player of the month for February by the Italian Footballers’ Association.

The 22-year-old Serbian striker had a strong month with the Bianconeri following his €80m move from Fiorentina in January. During his six matches last month, Vlahovic scored four goals and provided one assist, proving his quality to the fans in Turin instantly.

Vlahovic is expected to be the leading figure in the post-Cristiano Ronaldo era at Juventus and he could be the difference maker in the race for a top four finish this season. In the first half of the campaign with Fiorentina, the Serbian striker scored 17 goals, earning his move to the Bianconeri.

The former Fiorentina man received almost 60% of the total AIC vote, beating out Hamed Junior Traorè of Sassuolo, Adrien Tameze of Verona and Gaston Pereiro of Cagliari. The fact that he hit the ground running in Turin was factored in by many when voting for him.
