According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Fiorentina could include a €70m release clause in Dusan Vlahovic’s contract and there is just ‘one obstacle’ preventing the Serbian striker from signing a new deal at the Artemio Franchi.

Scorer of 21 goals in 37 Serie A appearances with Fiorentina last term, Vlahovic’s contract expires in June 2023.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tottenham have set their sights on the Serbian striker, but Fiorentina have almost reached an agreement to extend his stay in Tuscany.

Vlahovic could sign a three-year contract extension with a new €3m-a-year salary plus add-ons.

The new deal would come with a €70m release clause, but Fiorentina are still negotiating with the striker’s agent on the fee he would receive if any club pay the release clause in the future.

Talks between the two parties are ongoing and at the moment, this seems to be the only obstacle preventing Vlahovic from signing  a new deal with the Tuscans.
