With Diego Demme out of action for at least two months, Napoli are reportedly considering Denis Zakaria and Teun Koopmeiners as possible replacements for their injured midfielder.

Demme suffered a ligament injury and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, he will remain out of action for two months, provided he won’t need surgery.

According to Il Corriere del Mezzogiorno, AZ Alkmaar midfielder Teun Koopmeiners is one of the targets identified by Luciano Spalletti to replace the German midfielder.

The Netherlands international is also on Atalanta‘s radars.

Borussia Mönchengladbach and Switzerland midfielder Denis Zakaria is also being monitored by the Partenopei, who, according to Calciomercato.com, want to sign the 24-year-old on loan with an option to buy.
