Emiliano Viviano is keeping himself fit in a gym at his hotel in Milan, waiting for a decision from Inter, who are reportedly still evaluating their options.

The former SPAL keeper is a free agent and could be registered outside of the transfer window, but his lack of playing time could prevent him from getting a job at San Siro.

Viviano has already passed his medical with Inter and could provide the needed back-up for injured Samir Handanovic.

Antonio Conte has reportedly been looking for a new goalkeeper after losing the Slovenia international, who is expected to be back on February 23.

The Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Viviano continues to work out in a gym at his hotel in Milan and is just waiting to be called up by the Nreazzurri.

Handanovic could undergo further tests to reveal the extent of his injury, but the newspaper understands that Conte is getting anxious about having Daniele Padelli as his only option, in case of another setback.

Tommaso Berni is also registered in the squad but hasn’t played for a long time.
