Italian international goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano will probably leave Fiorentina this summer, says Viola director Sandro Mencucci.
The 27-year-old, a Viola fan, joined his hometown team last year on loan from Palermo. His buy-out fee is reportedly set at €7.5m.
“Viviano is a really good lad and I have great affection for him,” Mencucci told Radio Blu when quizzed on the custodian.
“But the question of whether he will stay or not is a different matter. He probably won’t stay in Florence because of financial reasons.”
The former Brescia, Bologna and Inter player appeared in 32 League games for the Tuscan giants in 2012-13.
Viviano has been linked with a possible move to Roma after they sold Maarten Stekelenburg to English club Fulham.
