The Streghe patron was asked about his opinion on the attempted breakaway, after Juventus, Inter and Milan tried to join 12 other founding clubs.

“An unsuccessful coup,” he said when he was asked to describe the attempted breakaway to Sky Sport Italia. “Underestimating the reaction of the fans was a decisive mistake.
