Nicolò Zaniolo has reacted on social media to his Aston Villa debut and the first chant made by Villans’ fans for him.

The Italy international made his Premier League debut with Aston Villa coming off the bench in the second half of a 3-1 win over Burnley on Sunday.

Villa fans already seem to be in love with the Italy international, as many praised the 24-year-old on X – formerly Twitter – after the final whistle yesterday.

The 24-year-old also seems happy with his first appearance for the club, having shared several videos after Sunday’s game.

Zaniolo thanked Aston Villa fans with an Instagram story showing their first chant for him and celebrated Villa’s win and his debut with a couple of posts.

  1. First appearance and looks a brilliant signing will give a lot of defenders problems this season, this is exactly the type of player that we need and it’s obvious from his first cameo that he will slot straight in.
    All we need now is another quality striker and we’re on our wa. I know that people will say we need another left back but I think that With a bit of luck Digne will stay and with Mareno about to start again we should be ok in that department.

  2. I would say we need another right back or right sided CB as well, depending on how Emery wants to set up.
