Nicolò Zaniolo made his Premier League debut in a 3-1 win over Burnley and Aston Villa fans seem to be already in love with him: ‘Really positive.’

The Italy international has joined Aston Villa on loan with an option to buy from Galatasaray and made his first Premier League appearance on Sunday.

Zaniolo came on from the bench at minute 73 replacing Moussa Diaby and had time to show some of his skills to Aston Villa fans.

The Italian inspired one of his side’s attacks at minute 80 with a nutmeg and even came close to scoring his first goal for Aston Villa, but his shot was deflected by a Burnley defender tracking back inside the box.

Overall, Aston Villa fans seem happy with Zaniolo’s debut and have been praising the Italian on social media. The 24-year-old played in attack with Matty Cash and Ollie Watkins.

Zaniolo has a chance to be called up by Luciano Spalletti for the upcoming international break. The former Roma striker made his senior Italy debut in 2019 and has two goals in 13 senior appearances with the Azzurri.
