Former Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal scored his first goal for new club Flamengo.
The Chile international also contributed an assist as he proved his worth in the 4-1 victory over Atlético Goianiense the Série A Brasileira.
Vidal teed up forward Mário Sérgio Santos Costa to put his side 2-0 ahead before adding a penalty on 32 minutes.
The result leaves Flamengo fourth in the table – nine points behind leaders Palmeiras.
Vidal joined the Brazilians on a free transfer after leaving Inter this summer.
