Giovanni Simeone broke into tears after scoring his first-ever Champions League goal, minutes after his debut.
The Argentinean striker replaced the injured Victor Osimhen in the final minutes of the first half with Napoli up 2-0 against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
It was his absolute debut in Europe’s elite competition and the Argentinean managed to score his first goal in the tournament almost with his first touch only a few minutes later.
Once he saw the ball crossing the line, the ex-Verona striker ran under Napoli’s Curva in tears while his teammates joined him for celebrations.
