Italy international Gianluca Scamacca was on target again for West Ham United in the Europa Conference League play-off against Viborg, his second goal in as many starts.

The centre-forward had already found the net in the first leg, which saw the Hammers emerge 3-1 winners on home turf.

In this evening’s trip to Denmark, Scamacca was on the scoresheet again meeting a ball at the near post.

Although he is yet to find the net in the Premier League, Scamacca has scored in both matches where he started in the Conference League play-offs.

The striker was purchased from Sassuolo for €36m plus another €6m in add-ons and a percentage of the sell-on fee.
