Salernitana‘s friendly with Adana Demirspor was abandoned after a brawl which produced four red cards.

The match raised money for leukaemia association in Salerno but was anything but friendly as a foul by Adana’s Samet Akaydin led to riot involving all 22 players on the pitch and several from the bench.

Referee Gianpiero Miele of Nola sent off Akaydin and Kevin Rodrigues for the Turkish side and Federico Fazio and Lassana Coulibaly for Salernitana.

Vincenzo Montella’s Adana were 3-1 ahead at the time of the stoppage.

  1. HAHAHA. What is ‘Miele di Nola?? 😂😂😂😂

His name is Gianpiero Miele and he is FROM Nola. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

  2. Miele di Nola is his name?? Mind you, your twitter profile states you are half “Romanesco” which is a type of broccoli and that Rome is in “Lacio” so I’m not surprised by this error.
