Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga will fly into Napoli this week to finalise his loan, according to reports in Italy.

The Spain stopper lost his place at Stamford Bridge following the arrival of Édouard Mendy two seasons ago.

With a World Cup on the horizon, he is in search of regularly game time as his place in the Luis Enrique’s team for the 2022 World Cup is far from secure.

And Il Corriere dello Sport report his move to Napoli could be finalised by the end of the week.

Napoli appear to be in search of a new No. 1 following the departure of David Ospina, despite having Italy international Alex Meret in their ranks.

Kepa is the world’s most-expensive goalkeeper, having joined Chelsea from Athletic Bilbao for €80 million in 2018.

The report adds Chelsea will continue to cover 75% of the 27-year-old’s salary during his time at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
