Monza have hit back at numerous comments from Milan supporters on social media prior to the meeting of the two sides in Serie A on Sunday evening, which ended in a shock 4-2 victory for Raffaele Palladino’s team of underdogs.

On Monday, Monza posted a video to their official X account, showing a number of comments left by Rossoneri supporters in the build-up to Sunday’s game.

The posts included messages such as “Three free points for Milan,” “Recommend you stay out of the way as usual,” and “Friendly for us tomorrow.”

Monza’s video quickly cut away to clips of Matteo Pessina’s opening penalty, Dany Mota’s first-half injury time strike, Warren Bondo’s eventual winner and Lorenzo Colombo’s 95th minute effort to cement the scores at 4-2.

Sunday’s result denied Milan the opportunity to draw level on points with Juventus in second place, while Monza moved within three points of the top half of the Serie A table, just three points off Torino and Napoli in 10th and ninth respectively.
