Leeds United defender Diego Llorente has just landed at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport to undergo his medical with the Giallorossi and join José Mourinho’s side on loan with an option to buy.

The Spanish defender moves to the Stadio Olimpico on an initial short-term deal to replace Matias Vina who has joined Bournemouth.

Llorente landed in Rome at 17.30 local time, 16.30 GMT.

He is expected to undergo his medical with the Serie A side on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old played 59 games with Leeds, scoring four goals.
