Inter midfielder Matías Vecino has arrived for his medical ahead of his move to Lazio on a free transfer.
The Uruguay international joined Inter from Fiorentina in the summer of 2017 and has made 127 appearances for the Nerazzurri, scoring 13 goals.
On the final day of the 2017-18 campaign, he netted a late winner on the final day of the campaign to send Inter into the Champions League at Lazio’s expense.
He won a Serie A title, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa during his time with Inter.
A lot of tiffosi might be happy he’s off the books, but the value he proved for Inter shall not be forgotten. Hope to see him do well at Lazio.
Atrocious player.
Amongst all this Roma frenzy that we see in Rome and in Serie A and Europe overall, it’ll be very cool to see Lazio starting to play Sarri-Ball, as Napoli did several years ago. It’ll be great to see them crushing opponents with beautiful style and many goals in the net.
And that’s only to be expected from a Sarri team.
I’m only not sure how good their defense would be.

Vecino may not be a great player but he had his clutch moments at Inter. The goals against Lazio and Tottenham will remain long in the memories of Interisti.
