Video: Chiellini scores first MLS goal for LAFC

Watch as Italy legend Giorgio Chiellini scores his first Major League Soccer goal for Los Angeles FC in their season opener against Portland.

The former Juventus defender is 38 years old and joined the American club as a free agent in the summer of 2022.

He was in the right place at the right time to bundle over the line from close range after a corner kick routine.

It was his 13^th MLS appearance, 15^th including the Play-Offs, and his first goal, having previously contributed an assist.
