Carlo Ancelotti was furious with Real Madrid winger Rodrygo who didn’t shake his hand after a substitution in a 2-3 win against Villarreal.
There was tension on the touchline in the second half when the Italian tactician replaced Rodrygo, who didn’t seem happy with his coach’s decision.
The Brazilian winger didn’t shake Ancelotti’s hand, and the former Milan and Chelsea coach made sure his player knew his feelings.
Ancelotti looked furious and spent some time talking to his player. According to multiple reports in Spain, including Football Espana, Ancelotti said in Spanish: ‘Tu a mi, me saludas’ – ‘You with me, you acknowledge me’.
His current and former players have often praised Ancelotti’s coaching abilities. Many see the former midfielder as a mentor but clearly, Carletto still gets upset when he sees disrespectful behaviour.
