Torino host ‘perfect’ Roma, but Giampiero Ventura says “our biggest opponent is the number of injuries.”

“More than Roma, our biggest opponent is the number of injuries we’ve got to deal with,” said Coach Ventura in his Press conference.

“If you took six or seven players away from any team, it would change their campaign. We have to make the most of what we’ve got, even if we are in an emergency situation.

“We must play our game and see what we can do. The game with Roma doesn’t need me to explain the difficulties, as they have won every game and conceded only one goal.”

Torino held Milan and Inter on home turf, but are fresh from a spectacular midweek 3-3 draw at Livorno.

“We were superficial against Livorno, as we ended up trailing in a game we had been winning 2-0. We will learn from this and not make the same mistakes.

“With that in mind, I think the best thing Rudi Garcia has done at Roma is to drill into great champions the spirit of sacrifice. That is fundamental for success.”

Toro are without Guillermo Rodriguez, Marcelo Larrondo, Omar El Kaddouri, Alexander Farnerud and the suspended Giuseppe Vives.

Migjen Basha returns from his ban, but Cesare Bovo and Matteo Brighi are probably not fit enough to start.

Torino squad for Roma: Basha, Barreto, Bellomo, Berni, Bovo, Brighi, Cerci, D'Ambrosio, Darmian, El Kaddouri, Gazzi, Glik, Gomis, Immobile, Maksimovic, Masiello, Meggiorini, Moretti, Padelli, Pasquale
