Torino Coach Giampiero Ventura says his side can’t afford to face Zenit in the same manner as they did Udinese at the weekend.

The Granata take on the Russian side in the Last 16 of the Europa League this week, and are considered huge underdogs by most, and the tactician admits they’ll have to be better than they were against the Zebrette.

“There might be a drop in intensity, we’ve given so much in three months,” Ventura explained to Tuttosport.

“We were practically relegated in October, now we’re in the second knockout round of the Europa League, we have the same number of points as Inter and one more than Milan.

“This game [with Zenit] is a source of pride for us. Although the Toro that showed up in the first half against Udinese doesn’t have a prayer.”
