The match officials didn’t see Muntari’s effort cross the line, while the Italian was incorrectly flagged for offside at San Siro.
“I’d never seen anything like it in my playing career,” the Dutchman told the Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday.
“At the end of the game Juventus boss Antonio Conte came to me and told me that we shouldn’t be upset because they had a goal wiped out too.
“However, with our strike we would have been 2-0 up and been able to score more, Matri’s would have made it 3-1, 4-1 or even 5-1.
“I can only remember an error of this magnitude at the 2010 World Cup between England and Germany.”
Although the draw favoured the Old Lady, the former Bayern Munich enforcer insists the Rossoneri have the edge in the title race.
“The game against Juventus was good for us from a psychological point of view,” added the 34-year-old.
“It wasn’t good to see Muntari’s goal not given, but we are better mentally. Now Juve know that we are stronger.”
