Time is ticking for the former Juventus midfielder to leave United, with the English transfer window closing in only three days.

According to The Times, Madrid President Florentino Perez put James plus cash on the table, but the offer was thrown out by the Red Devils.

That is because they value Pogba at €160m, while the Colombian’s price has dropped after a 2018-19 campaign with Bayern Munich considered below his usual standards.

It now remains to be seen whether Los Blancos will honour their alleged verbal agreement with Napoli over the 28-year-old.

Tuttosport claimed only last night that Juve would offer Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic and Blaise Matuidi for the Frenchman, but ‘La Joya’ has since rejected the move.
