Udinese still haven’t agreed personal terms with Nehuen Perez yet, delaying the return of the Atletico Madrid defender.
The Friulian side are incredibly keen to bring back the 22-year-old Argentinian centre back this summer following his strong spell on loan last season, and they’ve already agreed the terms of a deal with Atletico Madrid, so things were looking good.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Udinese haven’t reached a contract agreement with Perez yet due to the salary, with the player wanting more than the club are offering. It’s caused the deal to come to a complete standstill and now everything is seemingly hanging in the air.
The Friulian side are now working hard to try and resolve the situation quickly, not wanting the transfer to collapse at the decisive stage.
Last season, the 22-year-old Perez made 20 Serie A appearances for Udinese, for a total of 1695 minutes. He provided one assist in that time and helped the side keep three clean sheets.
Hope the deal goes through for udinese, good player,
So they didn’t realize this before getting rid of their best player to atletico?
I always liked Udinese and their penchant for brining in talented players.
They and Atalanta have the best scouting system in Italy.
